hello, internet!
I am writing this from my faaaather's house in Delaware, by the seashore. Sort of. It's actually in a lovely little rural area 15 minutes or so from the beach.
Anyway, we got back yesterday from a week spent Small Hope Bay, on Andros Island, in the Bahamas, one of my new favorite-places-ever..
it's the largest island in the bahamas, but really secluded & naturey, it's sparsely populated and is mostly unexplored. It also has the world's healthiest and third largest barrier reef, and underwater caves & blue holes.
It's not a place you can descirbe without pictures, so I'll do that once I get home. Also on my to-do list is scuba certification.. the day we got there (on an 18-seat airplane, which landed at an airport the size of my house) I snorkeled for the first time, and by the next day we were in a introductory scuba course and diving on the reefs. In short, it is incrediblelellflflfllllll
You have to focus on a apattern of breathing, there's something really mediditative and relaxing about it.. not to mention all the amazing things to see, and the feeling you get looking up at the sky underneath 40 feet of water.
Image search up "stoplight parrotfish". and "french angelfish". or just "Small Hope Bay Lodge"
so many many many stories, this is hardly even a beginning.
Well, I'm in delaware for several more days, but when I get back to Iller-noise I'll tell it in photos and paint as usual.
(&& y'all should go have a listen to:

and '
